A Perspective of Light

Everyday events usually seem uneventful,
but when my granddaughter asked to use my camera and went around our house
taking pictures, she snapped this  photo of a lamp in our living room.
I was struck by the perspective as well as the lighting,
almost as if it was done in sepia.

I share it here and will show it to her when she comes on our day together,
and we will talk about Matthew 5:14-16.
Sometimes a 4-year-old's perspective is best!

You are the light of the world.

A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl.

Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

In the same way, let your light shine before others,

that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:14-16

I love this whole idea! Taking everyday moments and photos of seemingly ordinary things to remind us of greater Truths from God's Word.

Blessings and love,
Debbie
